“My former law partner, Ross Earnshaw, was a distinguished lawyer who served his profession in leadership roles at the regional, provincial and national level. Ross is a combination of wisdom and intelligence, empathy and understanding, dedication and hard work. The residents of Ward 4 will be very well served if they re-elect Ross to represent them on Cambridge City Council.”

The Grand River by Galt reflects a pink sunset.

I am pleased to endorse Ross Earnshaw for re-election as Ward 4 Councillor for the City of Cambridge. Over the past four years, I have had numerous opportunities to speak with Councillor Earnshaw on a variety of issues, and have followed his city initiatives through local media and his informative newsletters to constituents. His background as a lawyer, combined with experience across a range of fields, has brought valuable knowledge and perspective to Council. I particular appreciate his “non-confrontational” style of leadership.

On a personal note, I have found Councillor Earnshaw to be a genuinely kind, attentive representative who listens to his constituents and acts on their input.

"I have been a resident in Ward 4 for over 50 years. In the last municipal election I endorsed and supported Ross as my candidate for Ward 4.

I did this because I knew Ross to be a person of high integrity who would review all municipal issues thoroughly and make decisions that were not only in the best interests of the residents of Ward 4 but taking into account the interests of the City and Region as well.

I have not been disappointed.

As such, I wholeheartedly and with confidence support Ross as my candidate for municipal council representing Ward 4 in this year's upcoming municipal election."

“I am pleased to endorse Ross Earnshaw for re-election. In his first term as city councillor I witnessed Ross’ bold leadership and thoughtful engagement on issues that matter to us as residents of Cambridge. Ross is an active listener, making sure everyone in the room is heard. He is also a do-er. He initiates and supports good ideas that benefit the whole community. We are fortunate to have Ross’ voice in City Council chambers.”

“I’ve known Ross for quite a while; we both practised law in our community. I know Ross as an honest, conscientious and dedicated community member. Over the past few years we see each other regularly at the Cambridge Farmer’s Market at 7:00 am where we both conscientiously shop to support our local farmers and entrepreneurs. You can’t go wrong with Ross!”

“As a long time resident of Galt Cambridge I want to express my strong support for Ross Earnshaw in his campaign for re-election as Councillor for Ward 4 in the upcoming municipal election. Ross has proven to be a valuable and necessary liaison between the residents of Cambridge and City Administration. From my family's personal experience back in 2005, it was our quest to recognize my father's wartime record for posterity, so we applied for a veteran's street name. We were unsuccessful, so we contacted Ross. He listened, he was empathetic, and then he accepted the challenge to further our quest. After his hard work and persistence, in 2025 he presented the family with a stunning and successful end result . . . Mìseferi Crescent was accepted. Thank you Ross, our hearts are full! To my neighbors and friends of Ward 4, please join me in re-electing Ross Earnshaw.”

“My name is Lee Taggart and I have been a proud home owner in Ward 4, for 56 years. It is with delight, that I endorse Ross Earnshaw’s campaign for re-election, for this ward. He is a councillor who cares about his constituents - really cares. If I have a question or concern, he answers them promptly. This winter, I was told I had to scrape my sidewalk to the pavement. Ross came over immediately to see what I was so distressed about. His prompt personal response was appreciated. I see Ross biking or walking all over this ward. He knows what is going on. I appreciate his commitment to us.”
